Phineas from A Separate Peace Phineas was possibly my first literary crush and certainly the first whose clothing had an impact – at that age I didn't even know it was possible for boys to dress well. A forbidden pink shirt and an oxford tie as a belt – a fashion rebellion in the face of prep school authority. I don't think it is a coincidence that I married a man who wears pink shirts and hates authority, I think it was fate.

Yves Saint Laurent Not only is he considered one of the world's greatest designers and one of my personal top favorites, his own style is elegant and oh so cool. I love the glasses and I love the whole fashion genius thing too. After retiring in 1998, Saint Laurent is now mostly reclusive in Morocco. Which, I believe, is the most stylish way to be a recluse.

Mr Rogers I don't mean this ironically. I like sweater vests, cardigans, and a man that can skillfully mix colors. I also think it is pretty stylish that he did all the voices in the Land of Make Believe.
