Laughs »Baby Trashes Bar in Las Palmas

by Johannes Nyholm

Further proof that toddlers are tiny drunks without the alcohol comes from this adorably funny short film.

This is just a portion of the short “Las Palmas” directed by the handsome puppet making Swede, Johannes Nyholm.

Thank you, Brandon for the link.

Laughs »Dong Dong Swallower

Classmates.com

First of all, is it such a rare occassion for Classmates.com to get a new member that they send out announcements every time? (And if so, the possibilites of this joke are endless) – and second of all, does any one from my high school remember Dong Dong?

I think he may have been in Senora Wells’ Spanish class but I can’t remember. So, I guess I would have to describe him as “soft-spoken”?

Laughs »Using the Force

Too Cute!

This new Volkswagen commercial is so adorable, it almost makes me wonder what I am missing when I fast forward through them.

Thankfully, the good ones get caught by the internet and conveniently emailed to me. I love how expressive this little kid is just using his hands.

Laughs »Alternate Universe Movie Posters

by Sean Hartter

Thanks Mike for showing me these hilarious Alternate Universe Movie Posters. They kind of remind me of our “Development Hell” category over on Rotating Corpse, but I certainly can’t claim my slapdash photoshopping compares to these clever and detailed masterworks.

I’ve only posted a few favorites here, be sure to check them all out – and dream of a world where Tim Curry plays the Joker, here.

Laughs »Viral Video Film School

on Youtube and Current TV

For a guy that looks like just some kid I would have been friends with in high school, or alternatively just some kid I wouldn’t have been friends with in college, Brett Erlich is one funny guy.

You might recognize him from the better than it needed to be Rotten Tomatoes TV show, but I prefer these Viral Video Film School videos, available on youtube and on current TV.

Tackling such themes as Stunt Fails, Adorable Puppies, and Scary Robots, these little shorts have also introduced me to such things as “haulers” (people who who what they just bought during a shopping trip on youtube) and “cash gifting” (a scam where people online ask you to send money for no real reason).

Laughs »Two Drink Mike

Mike Birbiglia (2006)

While some of the material is Two Drink Mike, a stand up album from funny man and self deprecating charmer Mike Birbiglia is redundant from other performances of his I’ve recommended (What I Should Of Said Was Nothing, Sleepwalk With Me), it’s still a great listen that tackles subjects like panda sex to pizza dreams and makes me laugh out loud.

Laughs »John Jacobson and His Double Dream Hands

Awesome Dance Routine

Thanks dad for introducing me to the glory that is John Jacobson, the enthusiastic, glowing white toothed choreographer who has introduced me to the double dream hands move. The short instructional video may seem repetitive but you’ll want to stick around for the cabbage patching and free styling at the end.

Jacobson, as frighteningly Disney channel as he is, seems to be a man who means well. According to his site “John is the founder and volunteer president of America Sings! Inc., a non-profit organization that encourages young performers to use their time and talents for community service.”

But still, this just makes me laugh – and want to learn the routine for the next time I am find myself in spandex or in the middle of a dance party.

Laughs »On the Bro’d

Every Sentence of Jack Kerouac’s On The Road, Retold for Bros.

Most of you may have already seen On The Bro’d, an ingenious retelling of On the Road for today’s bro: Full of references to Bud Light Limes, Axe Body Spray, Big Dog tees, and beer bongs.

The author, Mike Lacher, is featured in McSweeney’s, The Huffington Post, and more and his web design is just as funny as his prose (see the The Geocities-izer). His other work can be found here – where you too can become an instant fan.

Laughs »Kids Love Lizard Lady

Jim loves this. I believe the scenes are from Jesus Camp, which would have been way cooler if it were Lizard Lady Camp.
