There's not much information on the mid-eighties Telugu film Adavi Donga starring Chiranjeevi and Radha and a slew of dancers donning paper mache animal heads, but I am greatly intrigued.. especially since this is the only other image online for the film.

Thanks to Grace for introducing me to the hilarious and often touching site Postcards from Yo Momma, a showcase of entertaining correspondences that make you rejoice in the unique relationship between daughters and their mothers – especially that special time when you start seeing each other as adult women and friends. It's often updated and a great way to laugh for hours. A couple of my favorites are:

Mom: How do I unfriend on Facebook?

Me: What, you only have like 8 friends, who do you want to get rid of.

Mom: That's really none of your business, and I have 40 friends thank you very much.

Me: That's right, Dad has 8 heheh

Mom: Not for long!

and

“Didn't you say your dad took a golden shower at that bar he was at in the city? I've been telling all of my friends but your dad says I am wrong and I probably shouldn't repeat this story. Am I using the term correctly?”

With her alluringly soothing voice, I'd probably listen to the beautiful Isabella Rossellini talk about anything. Luckily for me I can hear her talk about a subject as interesting as the reproduction cycles of animals!

In Green Porno, a series of funny and quirky shorts which she created, produced, wrote and directed, the often Sci Fi-like like mating practices of insects and, in this season marine animals, are explained in entertaining and scientific detail.

Each episode features fun, handmade costumes and sets by Brooklynite Andy Byers. A recent clip about whale penises has been featured on The Soup, but you can see them all on the Sundance website.

I love that Cat Fancy never pretends to be something that it's not. Usually the best parts are the ads for crazy cat lady junk (frequently studded with rhinestones) and the “editorials” by Garfield, which are priceless (this month he weighs in on feline films, pointing out that compared to dogs, cats get the short end of the stick when it comes pet-centric cinema) – but this latest survey had me laughing out loud.

News flash! 76% of cat owners love EVERYTHING about their cats. I'd love to meet (and now that I think of it, I probably already have, at various cat shows) the women and few men who participated in this informal poll and have a talking to with those that didn't vote “everything”.
